First, here is a brief introduction to the Revitalise owners, Richard and Clare Brown:

Richard Brown

  • Finances, Marketing and Personnel
  • Reception: class and therapy bookings and receptionists
  • Therapists and class teachers
Background:

After graduating with a business degree, Richard spent 10 years in project management before taking on the responsibility of his own business which, with his wife, he has grown into the huge success it is today. Richard has strong business acumen and a natural ability to get the job done, remain focused, and deal with people in challenging situations. He is open-minded and has experienced many varieties of therapies, classes and treatments offered at Revitalise.

 

Clare Brown

Clare Brown

Managing Director, Revitalise.

 

 

Clare’s Responsibilities:
  • Managing Director
  • Maintaining the Revitalise ethos
  • Management of the shop
  • Management of the café
  • Teaching Pilates
  • Overseeing the Classes
Background:

Clare comes from a strong 10 year background in health, fitness and wellbeing. Having worked her way up to the Manager of a corporate fitness centre in London, she then moved to Hove, and after having her first daughter, embarked on Revitalise as a new venture. Qualified and experienced as a sports massage therapist, class teacher and personal trainer, coupled with her strong management skills, Clare brings a wealth of enthusiasm and experience to Revitalise.

Richard and Clare are married and have two children, Jazmyne and Jemima.

Both Richard and Clare Brown play vital roles in supporting our franchisees, but the support doesn’t end there, as the following shows!

Jim Tickner

Jim Tickner

“Franchise Doctor” and Franchisee Support Expert.

 

 

Jim is a Franchise Director, working as part of our franchise support team.

Jim’s Responsibilities:

Jim’s role in the team is to help you:

  • Succeed! Jim’s primary role is to contribute to the success of all our franchisees. He’ll be working closely with you to make sure you have the right level of support to help you achieve the results we believe are possible.
  • Get A Steady Stream Of Customers: Jim obviously won’t be doing the sales and marketing for you, but he will be continually developing, improving and testing all our existing marketing strategies, and adding others to them to keep your business flourishing.
  • Improve ‘The System’: Jim will also be continually working with us to improve and streamline the franchise system so we get the best possible results from everything we and you do.
Background:

Over 30 years of business experience, 20 years as a client-facing consultant.

Set up and managed his own home automation business for a number of years.

10 years’ end-to-end Project Management experience, working on projects up to £15 million in value.

Worked in Banking environments (Nat West, Lloyds, Citibank, Standard Chartered, Bank of America) and Fortune 500 (IBM, EDS).

Experience of working at senior levels for blue-chip companies and small-medium enterprises (SME’s) in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.

Married to Chris. They have two children, Vicky and Kim.

Lance WalkerLance Walker

A “Franchise Doctor” and Franchisee Support Expert.

 

 

 

Lance is also a Franchise Doctor working as part of our franchise support team…

Lance’s Responsibilities:
  • Lance’s primary roles in the team are to support Jim and help us develop and improve the franchise across the UK.
  • Lance isn’t as ‘hands on’ as Jim but Jim and Lance will hold planned meetings as often as necessary to discuss your progress and any ways they feel they can support you further.
Background:

Senior Vice President responsible for the US$25m International office of Carreker Corp, a US software house.

Chief Operating Officer of Futuremedia Plc.

Director of Gasper Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His work with Gasper was pivotal in tripling the value of the company in just 12 months.

European Director of S2 he controlled the sales, implementations and support of software products across Europe. Responsible for 3 offices in the UK and Holland and many simultaneous complex projects.

Also sold, managed and undertook a large number of successful consultancy assignments in the UK banking market place.
